Psychology of sufferers
Gynecomastia
has a psychological impact on men suffering from undesired breast
growth. In their daily life, they experience difficulty in wearing
tight shirts in the summer, bathing in the sea, and in their
relationship to girls.
Many people feel uncomfortable with their young children who
tend to imitate them (it is known that the boys have their fathers
as models). For most men, the only solution is surgery.
Boys in puberty usually wait patiently till it resolves on its own
within two years. However, in some cases a surgical intervention has
been performed in consultation with the parents, endocrinologists and
plastic surgeon.
